Project Overview: The agroforestry project in Bobonaro, Timor-Leste, spearheaded by VNV (Project Proponent) in collaboration with the local implementing partner Haburas Moris Foundation (FHM), aims to create a sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural system by integrating trees with crops in 3200 HA across 15 villages in Bobonaro. This approach enhances food security, income generation, and longterm stability for smallholder farmers. Key initiatives include adopting climate-smart practices, establishing market linkages, improving local infrastructure, and establishing self-help and farmer groups, mainly women-led.
